Friday Food Shot 110

I’ve been skipping rice during dinner for the past month or so. My usual dinner fare is this: a salad of romaine lettuce, arugula, cucumbers with roasted sesame (or Caesar) dressing, plus protein, which in this case is tamarind- marinated, pan-fried chicken breast fillet.

  1. Hi Mike! How do you marinate chicken in tamarind? Using tamarind mix? I’m just googling while at work and thought about your blogs, lol! This food blog interests me… trying to be healthy! I Miss your cooking

  2. Hi Joyce. If you have the powdered Tamarind Mix (Knorr Sinigang), just rub it on the chicken, and add a little pepper, leave it for an hour or so before cooking. Roasting is best, although pan-frying with little oil works too!
